  My experience this morning was that this place is possibly the worst place ever for food and service. No need to complain about the service because there was none :( We booked for 15 people and when we got there it took over an hour for everyone to get their food and it was awful and most of us couldn't even eat it! Would never go back!

  This Coolabah Tree Cafe took the same location as the old Brodies. I do not know why but I expected to get Brodie-like food from here. It is not fair to expect that. However, it does seem to be somewhere between a fast food restaurant and a cafe. The format and advertising is focused on being a cafe but when you get the food it seems like a typical fast food format. The family had mixed reviews on the food. It seemed really quiet the night we went with limited staff. Unless they turn it around, it is unlikely to last the year.

  Told me there was a 20 minute wait on cooked chickens. Waited 25 and walked back in. Was then told they'd be ready in 20. I then asked if they meant another 20. They responded with 'No, just 20'...
  
  I had already waited 25 and had a husky in the car so couldn't wait any longer...
